Born in Glasgow and raised in Australia, Ross has recently completed an Honours degree in Music from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London , where he studied with John Evans. His opera roles have included Yakuside and Yamadori Madama Butterfly and Antonio Le Nozze di Figaro and he also sang in Peter Grimes in the 2005 Salzburg Festival under Sir Simon Rattle and Sir Trevor Nunn. He has recently performed Giuseppe in the ACT Singers production of The Gondoliers. Oratorio performances include solos in Vaughan-Williams Dona Nobis Pacem, Faure Requiem, Schubert Mass in Ab and Haydn Nelson Mass. Currently working in marketing for the National Museum of Australia, Ross enjoys the opportunity to make music when he can.
