A musical bouquet of Spring delights performed by artists from Stopera, the ACT’s award-winning opera company. The program features beautiful music celebrating the joys of nature and romance in Spring, with songs by Schubert, Vaughan Williams and Grieg, and the violin classics Spring from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and Beethoven’s Spring Sonata.
There’s also some Spring- themed songs from The Mikado and South Pacific, and the nostalgic Ivor Novello hit, Waltz of my Heart. Enjoy coffee and cake with a view of the Lake, and join Stopera artists, soprano Rebecca Collins, baritone Ross Penglase, violinist Ewan Foster and pianist Vivienne Winther, for an afternoon of song in full Spring bloom.
